Weekend Media Events

Accredited media representatives with access to the Media Center are invited to take part in the official press conferences for the ADAC TOTAL 24h race and FIA World Touring Car Cup (FIA WTCR) this weekend. All press conferences take place on the podium at the Media Center, which will also be the location on Friday for the draw to determine the starting sequence for Top Qualifying. The draw for the starting sequence will also be streamed live on the Facebook page for the 24h race. We would also like to take this opportunity to notify you of two special laps of honour at the ADAC TOTAL 24h race. Before Top Qualifying on Friday evening, Johannes Scheid will drive an accurate replica of the “Eifelblitz” around the Nordschleife, in memory of Sabine Schmitz. Just before the grid line-up begins on Saturday, the brand-new Glickenhaus hypercar will then complete a lap of honour around the circuit.
