The race before the race: four weeks for discounted registration
Important for all teams: registration is available at attractive conditions until the pre-registration deadline. However, anyone wishing to take advantage of this should decide quickly, as the conditions are only valid until 18 March 2026. The final registration deadline for the 24-hour race is 22 April 2026 – the Wednesday after the 24h Qualifiers weekend. The registration deadline for the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers has been set for 12 April 2026.
Shoot-out in Top Qualifying
With the now approved regulations, the further developed mode for the top qualifying has also been published in black and white. It is based on a three-stage shoot-out: in Top Qualifying 1 and 2, the fastest cars in the top groups – for example from the SP9 and SP-X classes – will battle it out for a place in the final Top Qualifying 3, where the pole position and the best starting places will be awarded. At the same time, a separate Qualifying 3 without Top Qualifying cars will ensure an exciting battle for the remaining starting positions in front of the gigantic 24h backdrop at the Nürburgring.
